Culver's Restaurant Moves Forward In Homer Glen

The development will include a 4,107-square-foot Culver's restaurant with a drive-thru and 47-stall parking lot, board documents state.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Plans for a Culver's restaurant will move forward in Homer Glen after the Village Board approved several associated special use permits as well as the site plan for the project at its April 28 meeting.

The special use permits include amendments for increasing the maximum height of a monument sign, reducing the required landscape front yard, increasing the base of a monument sign, and allowing a wall sign on a building elevation adjacent to a residential property. The board also approved a special use permit for an outdoor seating area for the restaurant.

The development will include a 4,107-square-foot Culver's restaurant with a drive-thru and 47-stall parking lot, board documents state. The property is located in the Goodings Grove planned unit development, which is off of 143rd Street, near Bell Road. Proposed hours for the restaurant will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, according to board documents.

The Village Board unanimously approved the project.

Culver's operates several locations across the Chicago area, including in Lockport, Bolingbrook, Darien, Orland Park, New Lenox, Tinley Park, Frankfort, Joliet and Romeoville.
