Lemont Man Charged with Battery for Shoving Teen Off Skateboard, Punching Him: Sheriff
The incident occurred outside a bar in Homer Glen.

HOMER GLEN, IL — A 21-year-old Lemont man faces a battery charge after police said he allegedly shoved a teen off his skateboard and attacked him outside a bar in Homer Glen.
Eric Sabanov, 21, is accused of then allegedly punching a boy, 15, in the face outside Davidson's Bar & Grill, 14136 Bell Road, on Nov. 10.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the confrontation began as the teen was skating by outdoor seating at the bar, and someone "struck the victim with a lighter."

Believing that it was Sabanov who hit them with the lighter, the teen then swatted Sabanov's hat from atop his head, according to the report.
Sabanov then allegedly pursued the boy and attacked him.
