Missing Homer Glen Teen Found Safe in Colorado
The teen was located in Colorado, where he is in the custody of sheriff's police.

GARFIELD COUNTY, CO — A 16-year-old Homer Glen boy who went missing after crashing a car earlier this week has been found safe in Colorado.
Will County Sheriff's police were told around 2 a.m. Friday that the boy from Beaver Den Trail had been located in Garfield County, Colorado. Sheriff's police there took the boy into custody after curbing a red 2005 Jaguar with only one headlight. During the earlier search in Homer Glen, a similar vehicle had been reported stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 13000 block of West 167th Street. The vehicle had last been seen in the evening hours of Nov. 29.
The teen remains in custody in Colorado. His parents were immediately notified by Will County Sheriff's deputies. They will be traveling to Garfield County for any potential court proceedings and to bring their son home.
