330 Grams Of Pot Found On Driver With Fake License, Cops Say

A 31-year-old from Park Forest was charged.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Park Forest man faces a number of charges and offenses after a traffic stop at a busy Homewood intersection, police in Homewood said.

Cornelius Bass, 31 was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis - delivery/manufacture, unlawful possession of cannabis, failure to signal/improper signal, driving while license suspended/revoked and identity theft.

According to police, Bass had a fraudulent driver's license with personal information he was not authorized to use in addition to about 330 grams of what's believed to be cannabis while stopped at Halsted Street and Ridge Road at 7:46 p.m. on July 11.
