5 Things to Do in Homewood-Flossmoor this Week

Coming up this week:

  • The Flossmoor Village Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday. View the agenda.
  • A spring band concert will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at James Hart School in Homewood. An orchestra concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
  • The Homewood Public Library offers Games After Dark at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Games will include Gloom, Super Flight and more. Participants are also invited to bring games. Walk-ins welcome. Must be 18 and older.
  • Author and Flossmoor resident Peter Robinson will have a book signing and reading to celebrate the release of his new book, "Colorblind" at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Flossmoor Public Library.
  • The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will host an Earth Day Campfire Celebration from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Iron Oaks. Household fee is $5 for residents and $8 for non-residents. Enjoy an evening of stories, folklore and songs and a marshmallow roast around a blazing fire.
