The retailer is investing more than $5 billion to remodel existing stores and open hundreds of new stores across the country.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL — ALDI will welcome shoppers back to its renovated South Holland store when it reopens Thursday, May 13, at 8:30 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store, at 1051 E 162nd St., is part of an ongoing initiative to remodel and expand existing ALDI stores nationwide, a spokesperson for the company said.

Upon reopening, the South Holland store will be open to customers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

According to a news release, the updated store provides an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection.
