Advocate South Suburban kick-off National Nurses Week with a special sports treat

May 3: Nurses from Advocate South Suburban Hospital were among 50 Advocate Health Care heroes celebrated by the Chicago Bulls.

In partnership with the Chicago Bulls, Advocate Aurora Health invited 50 team members to attend the Chicago Bulls vs. Philadelphia 76ers game on Monday, May 3.

As the Chicago Bulls prepare to welcome fans back to the United Center on Friday, May 7, these team members, who work in various roles to care for patients with COVID-19, received a unique, exclusive opportunity at the United Center.

Nurses, technicians and other frontline professionals representing Advocate Trinity Hospital, in Chicago, Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn were recognized and honored for their heroic pandemic efforts, during a 2nd quarter time out.
