Clerk Shot During Robbery at Park Forest Gas Station
The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

PARK FOREST, IL — A clerk was shot during an armed robbery Wednesday morning at a gas station in Park Forest.
The robbery took place around 5 a.m. at the Marathon station, 385 Sauk Trail, according to police.
The 54-year-old employee suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to Franciscan St. James Health in Olympia Fields. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.
