Modeled after the Northern Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Project, Flossmoor's "Barrels of Hope" project engages local artists to paint the barrels with messages of hope and inspiration. The barrels will be displayed in Flossmoor from July until September. Bids to take the art home will be placed via online auction.
The Public Art Commission previewed the program with six barrels in 2020 featuring local artists. Like Flossmoor’s sculptures and parks, the painted barrels were eye-catching pieces of art that help attract people to our beautiful community!
