Culver's Offers Free BOGO Custard Sundae For Grandparents Day

HOMEWOOD, IL, — Whether you have Mimi or Gigi, Pops or Papa and just a classic Grandma and Grandpa, you're invited to celebrate all grandparents at local Culver’s restaurants in September. It starts with a scoop of fresh frozen custard and a selfie.

Beginning on Grandparents Day, Sun., Sept. 8, 25 participating Chicagoland Culver’s restaurants are encouraging children and families to treat the “grand” in their life to a cool occasion named Sundae Funday. For each Culver’s frozen custard sundae purchased, guests will receive a second sundae (of equal value) free for their grandparent (limit one per customer; dine-in only). In addition, grandparents and grandchildren of all ages can celebrate their “grand” connection by snapping a photo or capturing a sweet (or silly!) selfie at the designated life-size pop-up picture frame in each restaurant. Guests are encouraged to post their photo on Instagram with the hashtag #GrandparentsDayCulversWay to share their love.

Participating Culver’s locations will continue to spread the joy by donating $1 for every photo posted with the designated hashtag on Instagram to GENERATIONS UNITED on Grandparents Day, Sept. 8, in support of the organization’s efforts to value and engage all generations.

To sweeten the celebration, this Sundae Funday Buy One, Get One (BOGO) free offer for Culver’s frozen custard sundaes will be available on the remaining Sundays in the month: September 15, September 22 and September 29.
