HOMEWOOD, IL — A south suburban car dealership will once again give away a free new car to a family in need this holiday season. The Homewood Chevy Cares Car Giveaway is back at Chevrolet of Homewood, with submissions from families and individuals wishing to be considered for the giveaway being accepted in just a few days.

Last year, it was the Maszak family in Homewood who won a 2019 Chevrolet Sonic so Robert and Sandra Maszak could better transport their great-granddaughter, Tori. Tori was born with cerebral palsy.

Winners do not have to live in Homewood, however. The Maszaks were actually the first Homewood residents to win the car since the dealership began the yearly giveaway back in 2015.
