Flossmoor Fest To Kick Off This September
After canceling in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the village announced the event is back on this year.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor Fest is back! The Village of Flossmoor announced that the annual event will be held this year, after having to cancel amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
The annual event is a block party for Flossmoor's nearly 10,000 residents and neighbors in communities surrounding the village.
The block party is set to kick off at noon on Sept. 11. The village said The Hidden Gem Half Marathon is also scheduled for that same morning.

Details for both events, as well as sponsorship opportunities, have yet to be shared, but the village said details will be provided soon.
Sponsors have the opportunity to be a part of the event, which the village said is a great way to market a local business to thousands of customers.

The village said Flossmoor Fest has been a town tradition since 1999. It will take place in the downtown area of Flossmoor.
