H-F Puts on Spring Play This Weekend
The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Theater Department presents, 'The Last Days of Judas Iscariot,' this weekend, May 2 through 4.

The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Theater Department is ready to send the school year out with a bang with its final performance of the year, 'The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.' The play, which is set in Purgatory and centers on the trial of Judas Iscariot, will take place at the H-F Mall Auditorium Thursday, May 2, through Saturday, May 4.
“Set in Purgatory, this courtroom drama tries to answer the religious and philosophical question: Does Judas deserve eternal damnation or is he worthy of redemption? To shed light on this question, witnesses such as Satan, Sigmund Freud, Pontius Pilate, Caiaphas and Mother Teresa are summoned to the stand. At times hysterically funny, more often poignant, Judas puts the idea of forgiveness on trial and asks us to examine just how willing we are to forgive in our own lives,” touts the H-F website.
Curtains up for the show is at 7:30 p.m. Each night of the production, while the show is scheduled to last approximately two hours.
