Dixie Highway Reopened After Flooding: Homewood Police
According to police, the Dixie Highway Viaduct between Park Avenue and Harwood Avenue was closed in both directions Tuesday morning.
HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Homewood Police Department said the Dixie Highway Viaduct between Park Avenue and Harwood Avenue was closed in both directions due to high water Tuesday morning.
The announcement from the department was shared on Facebook at 8:23 a.m. Just hours later, police announced the road had reopened.
