Teens ages 12 to 15 can look forward to a new lesson twice a week, officials said.

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will host an art club for teenagers ages 12 to 15 at the Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. The first session is scheduled for 1 to 2:30 p.m., Aug. 3, and will continue every Monday and Wednesday through Aug. 12, officials said.

Working with charcoal, colored pencils, watercolors, inks and felt tip pens, teens will learn to draw and paint, and they can look forward to a new lesson each session, according to a Facebook post.

The art club will be instructed by Terry Nemchock, and the admission fee is $60 for Homewood-Flossmoor residents or $75 for non-residents.
