It's a wrap for Homewood Heights Baseball & Softball Club's first T-ball season, which drew scores of kids to the fields.

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Homewood Heights Baseball & Softball Club’s first T-ball season was topped off with a celebration and medals for the players.
The new club offered this season for free and drew more than 70 children and families to participate. The vision of the league is to teach kids the proper techniques and strategies of the game from their beginnings and going forward.

The T-ball league fielded eight co-ed teams: The Avengers, Batmen, Black Panthers, Captain Americans, Daredevils, Hawkeyes, Hulks and Spidermen. Each were coached by men and women who have played and currently coach the sport at a high level.
