Homewood To Host Workshops Regarding Zoning Code Starting In July
The village wants community input on its upcoming zoning code change.
HOMEWOOD, IL — The Village of Homewood will be hosting a series of public workshops regarding the updating of its zoning code beginning next month.
The village is asking residents for their input through an interactive map and survey already, but will be hosting a series of public workshops, with the first being July 22. The first shop will start at 7:30 p.m. in the first floor boardroom at the village hall, located at 2020 Chestnut Road.
According to the village, during the workshop, a discussion surrounding initial policy direction for updating the zoning code will come about.

"Please join us as this is another opportunity to provide input," the village said in its announcement Tuesday.
According to the announcement, a key theme and initial policy direction memo will be posted on the village website for viewing before the July meeting. Residents can also submit comments to pzc@homewoodil.gov.
