HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood resident Kehinde Salami played an Illinois Lottery Ultimate Crossword ticket and instantly won $75,000.
“I plan to put this money in the bank,” he said when he presented his winning ticket at the lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.
Salami, 51, bought his winning ticket at Lambert Mobil, 1529 N. Broadway St., in Joliet. The retailer received $750, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
