Homewood Native Killed in Shooting at North Carolina University

The woman was a sophomore at North Carolina A&T State University.

GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA — A Homewood woman was one of two people killed Sunday in an early-morning house party shooting at a university in North Carolina.

North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro said via social media that Greensboro Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired early Sunday, the Associated Press reports. Police found two injured students at the scene.

The university identified the victims as Alisia Dieudonne, a sophomore computer science major from Homewood, and Ahmad Campbell, a junior agriculture and environmental systems major from North Carolina. Both died from their wounds early Sunday.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
