The fifth annual Indoor Farmers Market opens at 8 a.m. Saturday and features live music, spin art, seasonal produce and local artisans.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Need a break from February doldrums? Homewood's fifth annual indoor farmers market is Saturday and may have the culinary inspiration you're looking for to brighten these gray days. Look for seasonal produce, vegan options, baked goods, artisans' handiwork, jams and coffee.
Kids can also be part of the fun. Spin art, sponsored by the village, will be available to them. MG Bailey is Saturday's live performer. A henna artist also will be on site.
The Indoor Farmers Market is held the last Saturday of the month from January through April from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Irwin Park Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave.
