John Sandford Virtual Author Visit April 14 at 7 PM

Matteson Area Public Library invites you to register for an exclusive Zoom event.

Join NYT best-selling author John Sandford for a fireside chat on April 14 at 7 PM !

He will be answering questions by interviewer Carl Hiassen and discussing his latest release, Ocean Prey.

The Matteson Area Public Library has joined forces with other Illinois libraries to bring patrons a visit with #1 New York Times bestselling author John Sanford. His newest release, Ocean Prey will be released on April 13, 2021,and our patrons will have the opportunity to listen to, and ask John Sanford questions about writing, his long career, and his legendary characters Virgil Flowers and Lucas Davenport.

Please call the Matteson Area Public Library at 708-748-4431 and ask for the Adult Services department to reserve your seat.

You may submit up to two questions for Mr. Sandford; there will be a space to add them during registration. Questions must be received no later than April 7.

If you will be watching together via the same screen, you only need to register one person.

John Sandford is the pseudonym for the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist John Camp. He is the author of twenty-nine Prey novels; four Kidd novels; twelve Virgil Flowers novels; three YA novels coauthored with his wife, Michele Cook; and three other books. Ocean Prey is the 31st installment in the Prey series, due to be released on April 13, 2021.

Registration with an email address is required. This program will be presented through a live Zoom webinar. The webinar link and password will be emailed to participants the day before the program.
