Residents Invited to Pitch In at Iron Oaks
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is hosting Volunteer Day at Iron Oaks on Saturday, April 13. The event will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is calling all residents to help out in a spring cleaning effort at Iron Oaks. On Saturday, April 13, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Iron Oaks and the park district will host Volunteer Day at the faiciltiy.
During the event, residents will take part in a cleaning effort for the spring, including removal of invasive species, collecting native seeds and trail restoration. This event qualifies for service hours for those needing hours for community service.
Preregistration is required for this event and can be done by contact the park district at call (708) 957-7275 or (708) 957-0300.
