Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra (SYSO), a regional community string program, is now accepting students to the beginner ensemble, Incredible Opportunity Program (IOP), for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
To join, student applicants must submit an essay, "Why I Want to Play the Violin," to thesyso@gmail.com. SYSO accepts up to 10 students in this ensemble. Apply today!

Classes are held Sunday afternoons, 3-4pm, beginning September 13th, and run through the beginning of May. Instruction is scheduled to be offered in small group format of no more than 10 students, or may also be taught virtually through Zoom or live streamed on our Facebook page. Classes on site are scheduled to take place at St. Peter's Church, Frankfort. Total program cost is $280 ($35 per month), plus a $15 materials fee (book and shoulder pad). A rental violin will be provided if needed at no additional cost.

The Incredible Opportunity Program (IOP) is our beginner ensemble, a group violin instruction class, for students ages 8-13 who do not already play a string instrument. For more information, please visit https://www.suburbanyouthsymphony.org/
