Matteson High Schooler To Compete In Miss Illinois Teen Pageant
High school sophomore Nia Williams is set to compete in the 2021 Miss Illinois Teen USA Pageant, representing Matteson.

MATTESON, IL — A high schooler from Matteson will be representing her hometown in the upcoming 2021 Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant.
Nia Williams is a Rich Township High School District 227 sophomore, who has also been named as Miss Teen Matteson. Williams will compete for Miss Illinois Teen USA on June 26 at the Braden Auditorium at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
The beauty queen is an Honor Roll student at Rich Township High School. She is also a member of the pom dance team.

Williams is representing Matteson at this year's pageant, and the contest will have 30 participants from across the state. Normally, there are 70 participants enrolled, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 number is slightly less.
The competition will take place at 100 N. University St., Ste 146, Normal; about two hours away from the Village of Matteson. The Miss Illinois USA pageant will take place the following day at the same location.
