Parker Jr. High Cross-Country Wins Weekend Invitational

HOMEWOOD, IL — Parker Junior High's cross-country team competed in their second invitational meet of the season this past weekend. Both the girls and boys teams took first place in the 2-mile race.

In the girls race Jasmyn Hunter finished 5th overall in 13:46, Samantha Gorton finished 8th in 14:21, Jane Bachus finished 12th in 14:39, Jackie Klupchak 13th in 14:40, and Haley Trojan 14th in 14:40.

In the boys race Ian Barrow placed 1st overall in 11:42, Jeron Burns finished 2nd in 11:46, Dean Barrow placed 7th in12:13, Estevan Valverde finished 8th in 12:17, and Nehemiah Ray finished 13th in 12:55.
