Pet Of The Week At Homewood Adoption Center: Delta
This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Tango, who is available for adoption at the South Suburban Humane Society's Homewood Adoption Center.

HOMEWOOD, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at the South Suburban Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Delta, who is available for adoption at the humane society's Homewood Adoption Center.
Delta wanted to tell the world about herself, and this is what she had to say.
Hi! I'm Delta! If you come to meet me at the Homewood Adoption Center, please ask to have someone just get me out of my kennel. I don't enjoy being in there and am very vocal about it, but I really am the sweetest girl once I am out! A staff member took me home for a sleep over for a few days and learned so much about me! She said I should tell you that I have very good manners, even sharing my space with 4 other dogs and taking treats nicely with them around! I love, love to be with people, so much so that I used one of my new doggie friends as a perch to get as close to my new human friend as possible. I am still not too sure about cats, and really wanted to chase them, so I should probably have really sloooow introductions to cats, or just a home without them! I can be a bit shy at times, so older kids would probably be the best fit for my new home as well. As much as I loved my new dog friends and human friend, I do think of my crate as my space, and prefer to be left alone while I am in there.
Can't wait to me you and become best friends! What are you waiting for?? Come meet me today at the Homewood Adoption Center.
The Homewood Adoption Center is at 2207 W. 183rd St. and is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
