Ridge Road Lane Closures Begin In Homewood
Add a little extra time to your commute Monday. IDOT said Ridge Road drainage work will require lane closures.
HOMEWOOD, IL — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that drainage improvements on Ridge Road between Center Avenue and Halsted Street in Homewood will require daytime lane closures starting Monday, Sept. 9.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of November.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
