SD 161 Candidate Forum Coming to Parker Jr. High School
The League of Women Voters of the Homewood-Flosssmoor Area will host a candidate forum for candidates of the Flossmoor School District 161 on Tuesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. The forum will take place at 7 p.m. at Parker Junior High School.

Residents have heard the pitches from many local candidates—and now those battling for four seats on the Flossmoor School District 161 board of education will take their turn.
Incumbents Tiijanel Boyd Odom and Christine Johnson Marks, and challengers Stephen M. Paredes, Shelly Amuh and Lisa M. Harrell will take part in the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum on Tuesday, April 2, at Parker Junior High School.
The candidate forum, which begins at 7 p.m., will offer voters a chance to hear candidates' views and thoughts on various issues within the district—and could be the last chance for candidates to make an impact before the polls open on April 9.
