DUI

Kevin Smith, 57, of Joliet was charged with improper overtaking on right - drove off roadway and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic crash at 7:59 p.m.on June 26 in the 600 block of Evergreen Road.

Erik Bentley, 29, of Chicago was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol, driver's license not on person and driving with alcohol concentration .08 or more at 3:07 a.m. on July 6 at 175th and Halsted.

Dominque Gandarilla, 30, of Chicago Heights was charged with improper lane usage - laned roadways, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic crash at 11:01 p.m. on July 9 in the 18400 block of Riegel Road.

Possession Of Stolen Car

Chante Houlden, 41, of Hazel Crest was charged with unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle at 11:52 a.m. on July 5 in the 17700 block of Halsted St. Houlden was the driver of a vehicle reported stolen to Calumet City police on July 2.

Retail Theft

Rishard Blakemore, 20, of Milwaukee was charged with retail theft at 12:02 p.m. on July 2 at Menards, 17545 S. Halsted St. Blakemore concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $228.99.

Natalie Unruh, 37, of Lynwood was charged with retail theft at 4:15 p.m. on July 6 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Unruh concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $308.12.
