Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra Offers Beginning Violin, Viola, Cello Incredible Opportunity Program

Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra, a not-for-profit organization, is looking for 20 students, 8 – 13 years old, who would like to learn to play the violin, viola, or cello.
Students must submit an essay: “Why I would like to play the violin, viola, or cello” by August 31, 2018 to Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra P.O.Box 662 Flossmoor, Illinois 60422 or email to thesyso@gmail.com
If your child is selected for the program, the cost of the program is $35 per month which includes weekly group instruction September through April at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 5825 151st Street, Oak Forest, Illinois as well as rental instrument.

Weekly instruction is from 3:-4:00PM on Sundays beginning September 9.
“Many schools in the south/southwest suburbs no longer offer string programs in their schools,” said executive director, Janet Kuester. “This program provides an affordable opportunity for a child to receive weekly group instruction and a rental instrument.”
