Teen Stabbed During Fight In Homewood

One teen was stabbed and several others held for questioning after a fight on Poplar Avenue in Homewood Monday.

HOMEWOOD, IL — One teenager was injured in a stabbing during a fight Monday afternoon in Homewood.

The fight happened at about 3:30 p.m. on the 18500 block of Poplar Avenue, Homewood police said.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Several other juveniles were taken into custody as part of the investigation, police said.

No further details were available Monday. An investigation is ongoing.
