You can see the works of Terence Travis and Rose Lyons, both of Homewood, at the Park Forest art fair this weekend.

PARK FOREST, IL — Two Homewood artists will be exhibiting their work in the 64th Annual Park Forest Art Fair this weekend.

Terence Travis, who paints with watercolors, said he gets his inspiration from his faith, family, and passion to create.

“Through the visual imagery I create, I desire to inspire, provide hope, and even give a few laughs to bring more light to life,” he said in a statement.

Rose Lyons draws. Lyons said she began drawing people’s houses and eventually began to draw in downtown Chicago. Because of the highly precise and detailed nature of her drawings, many people believe that she photographs the buildings and returns home to draw from the photographs. Rose does not own a camera.

This year, 23 new artists will be exhibiting their works. The artists use a variety of media, including oil, acrylic and watercolor painting; photography and printmaking; and wood, glass and fiber arts.
