Viking Broadcast Center Hosts Open House May 8
The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Viking Broadcast Center, home of the school's radio and television studios, will host an open house from 5:40 to 7:30 p.m. on May 8. Students interested in radio or television are encouraged to stop by.

Homewood-Flossmoor High School students have plenty of extracurricular activities, clubs and sports to choose from, from band to volleyball. Several activities are housed in the Viking Broadcast Center, home of the school's radio and television studios, which is hosting an open house on May 8, in an attempt to draw students behind the mic or in front of the cameras.
The studio, which is located in the South Building of the school's campus, was renovated over the summer and now boasts 'state-of-the-art' equipment, including a news anchor desk, green screen, Macintosh editing suites, green room and more.
Students interested in radio or television are encouraged to stop by the center's open house on Wednesday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. At the open house, students will have a chance to meet with current students participating in broadcast and teachers.
