Winterfest 2019 In Flossmoor Will End With Tree, Menorah Lighting

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Winterfest 2019 is fast-approaching in downtown Flossmoor and Flossmoor Park. The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 and end with the tree and menorah lighting at Flossmoor Park.

The village of Flossmoor shared the following schedule of events for the day in an email to residents. The village works with the Flossmoor Public Library, Flossmoor Business Association and Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Corporation on Winterfest.

Flosmoor Library

• 2:00 p.m. - Storytime with Police Chief Kamleiter, photos with Santa, holiday crafts
• 4:30 p.m. - Santa parade from Library to Flossmoor Park for tree and menorah lighting

Flossmoor Businesses

• 12 - 5 p.m. - Visit Flossmoor businesses for special holiday activities and sales

Flossmoor Park

• 1 - 2:30 p.m. - H-F Park District Santa pictures with pets at Park Place
• 12 - 5 p.m. - Walking tours to gingerbread house
• 5 p.m. - Tree and menorah lighting in Flossmoor Park
