Winterfest in Flossmoor: Schedule of Events

FLOSSMOOR, IL – Winterfest in Flossmoor will be held this Saturday in downtown Flossmoor and at Flossmoor Park. Events will run from 12 to 5 p.m. Here is a look at this year’s schedule of events:

• 12 to 3 p.m.: Walking tours to Gingerbread House
• 12 to 3 p.m.: HF Park District Santa Pictures with Pets
• 2 to 4:30 p.m.: Story time with Mayor, photos with Santa, Girl Scout holiday crafts
• 4:30 p.m.: Santa parade for tree lighting
• 5 p.m.: Tree and Menorah lighting

New this year, the Community Relations Commission will hold the Flossmoor Business Holiday Hunt.

You can take part in the hunt by visiting participating downtown and Flossmoor Commons businesses starting Dec. 8 to find the hidden Flossmoor logo. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win a Flossmoor Business gift basket.
