2 Robbed On Hyde Park Sidewalk
Two iPhones and a laptop computer were stolen from a couple of people who were confronted on a sidewalk steps from 55th Street.
CHICAGO – Two people who were walking on a sidewalk off-campus were robbed Monday afternoon, according to University of Chicago police. The victims said two people they did not recognize, one "implying a weapon," took two iPhones and a laptop computer from them around 12:10 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Ridgewood Court.
No weapon was seen, police said in a community alert. The robbers were last seen fleeing northbound on Ridgewood.
