2 Shot On Street In Kenwood

CHICAGO - Two people were shot Thursday afternoon in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side. Chicago police are investigating the shooting that sent both a 54-year-old man and 22-year-old man to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition.

Someone in a dark-colored vehicle that drove down the 5000 block of South Drexel Boulevard at 3:02 p.m. fired multiple shots, according to police. No arrests had been made as of 9 p.m. Thursday as Area Central detectives in the Chicago Police Department continue to investigate.
