A10 Restaurant Abruptly Closes

A10 Restaurant leaves the heart of Hyde Park after five years at 53rd and Harper.

CHICAGO, IL - A10 Restaurant, an anchor in downtown Hyde Park for the past five years, has closed its doors. The restaurant announced on social medial on Saturday that they would "focus on other projects" as another business has expressed interest in developing a new dining concept for the space at the northwest corner of 53rd and Harper, just south of the Harper Theater.

"We love Hyde Park and appreciate the five wonderful years we've enjoyed in the neighborhood," the restaurant wrote on Facebook. "Another business expressed strong interest in developing a new dining concept for the space, and we decided it was the right time to transition and focus on other projects.

"It's difficult to leave behind a restaurant and community we value so greatly, but are grateful for the experience and excited for our new ventures."
