Alderman Leslie Hairston Hosts Community Discussion

The conversation will take place on Oct. 11 to discuss the possibility of a liquor license for Nando's Peri-Peri.

Ald. Leslie Hairston (5th) will host a conversation on Tuesday, Oct. 11 to discuss the possibility of Nando's Peri-Peri obtaining a liquor license. The restaurant, which was once occupied by Clarke’s Diner, is interested in moving into the storefront at 1447 E. 53rd Street, according to the Hyde Park Herald. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. inside of the Hyde Park Hyatt, 5225 S. Harper Ave. The restaurant is known for its flame-grilled peri-peri chicken.
