Armed Duo Robbed Man In Apartment Hallway
University police say two people were armed when they stole an iPhone and keys from a victim before fleeing in the man's car.
CHICAGO – A person was in the hallway of an off-campus apartment building around midnight on Saturday when he was confronted by two armed robbers with handguns, University of Chicago police said in a community alert to residents.
Police say the two robbers confronted the victim in the hallway of an apartment on Kimbark Avenue between 61st and 62nd streets. They stole the victim's iPhone and car keys before leaving the area in the victim's 2005 Buick La Crosse.
No arrests have been made. Chicago police are investigating the case.
