Bike Rider Robbed At Gunpoint After Midnight
Three people, one with a gun, robbed a person riding a bike at 54th and Drexel at 12:15 a.m.

CHICAGO – Someone riding a bike in Hyde Park after midnight Tuesday morning was robbed at gunpoint. According to University of Chicago police, three people got out of a car and approached the victim at 12:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of South Drexel Avenue.
One of them showed a handgun and demanded the victim's property. The three of them then fled with the victim's backpack and ran to a waiting vehicle that fled the area eastbound on 54th Street.
Police did not provide a description of the robbers in a community news alert.
