Cars Hit By Gunshots In Kenwood

Police say they found two parked cars hit by gunfire near 46th and Drexel.

CHICAGO — A number of cars were hit by gunfire early Thursday morning in Kenwood. University of Chicago police officers responded to the 4600 block of South Drexel Boulevard at 1:12 a.m., where they found two unoccupied parked cars struck by gunfire and shell casings in the area.

No one was injured in the incident, police said. The Chicago Police Department is now investigating.
