Clarke's Closes for Good in Hyde Park
The diner had a spot on 53rd Street for five years.
CHICAGO, IL - Clarke’s Diner, 1447 E. 53rd St. in Hyde Park closed this week, the Hyde Park Herald reports.
The diner had been in business on 53rd Street for five years and passed two recent inspections, but a complaint was made leading to a determination there was no certified food manager on duty when potentially hazardous foods were being made.
With the Hyde Park closing, Clarke’s is down to two locations, one in Lincoln Park and the other in Evanston.
