Headphones Stolen During Robbery On UChicago Campus

A teenage boy faces a robbery charge after police say he and one other person "forcibly took headphones" from a pedestrian on 56th Street.

CHICAGO – Someone walking on the University of Chicago campus Friday night was robbed. University of Chicago police said two people "forcibly took headphones" from the pedestrian, who was in the 900 block of East 56th Street at 8:45 p.m. when he was approached by the pair.

Police said they searched the area for suspects and arrested one, a 16-year-old boy who lives in Chicago.

The boy was charged with robbery.
