New Pediatric Therapy Kitchen Unveiled At La Rabida

The new in-hospital kitchen is the first of 10 Starlight Sites to be unveiled by the Joy in Childhood Foundation nationwide.

CHICAGO, IL - The Joy in Childhood Foundation, a charitable foundation supported by Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, unveiled a brand new pediatric therapy kitchen at La Rabida Children's Hospital on Monday. Starlight Site, an in-hospital kitchen will serve as a joyful, colorful space for La Rabida patients and their families to spend time together learning to cook and enjoy healthy meals, according to a news release from the foundation.

The Starlight Site at a Rabida is the first of 10 Starlight Sites nationwide that will be unveiled by the Joy in Childhood Foundation over the next several months. The new Starlight Sites are part of the foundation's $1.5 million commitment to the Starlight Children's Foundation "in effort to bring joy to kids when they need it most."
