Taxi Driver Robbed In Kenwood
University police say a man implied he had a weapon before fleeing with the driver's belongings.

CHICAGO – A taxi driver was robbed in Kenwood Tuesday shortly after noon.
University of Chicago police say they responded to the 4700 block of South Ingleside at 12:05 p.m. to a report of an aggravated robbery. They learned that a taxi driver who was dropping off two passengers at an address on the block was confronted by one of them who implied he had a weapon and demanded the victim's jacket and cash.
Both suspects fled on foot and were not initially apprehended.
