Wig-Wearing Bandit Strikes BMO Harris In Hyde Park
A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed the BMO Harris Bank branch at 55th and Cornell.

CHICAGO – The BMO Harris branch at 55th and Cornell is Hyde Park was robbed Thursday afternoon by a man wearing a wig. The FBI says an unidentified man robbed the branch at 5493 S. Cornell St. shortly after 2 p.m. He wore a black wig, gray sweatshirt, orange shirt, black pants and orange shoes while demanding money from a teller on-duty.
The bandit fled in an unknown direction after the teller handed over an unknown amount of cash, University of Chicago police said.
The FBI's described the suspect as a black man, 5'9" to 6'0" with a dark complexion and a medium build and released surveillance images of him from the bank on its bank robbery website.

A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information directly leading to the man's arrest.
