Carson's At Louis Mall Up For Online Auction, Minimum Bid Set
After more than 160 years, Chicago-based department store Carson's closed all of its remaining locations for good in August 2018.

JOLIET, IL — It's been more than two years since the former Carson Pirie Scott store at the Louis Joliet Mall closed. Now, for the first time since the 11-acre property became vacant there's some interesting developments on the real estate end. This week, Newmark Knight Frank announced on LoopNet that the Joliet Carson's property at the mall will be the subject of a three-day online auction. The online auction will take Oct. 26-28.
According to LoopNet, the starting bid for the online auction has been established at $550,000. The two-story Carson store includes 126,365 square-feet of space plus 638 parking spaces.
