JOLIET, IL — If you have an extra $1 million stuffed under your mattress, you almost have enough cash to buy the former Willy World Cycles business right off Jefferson Street, at 101 N. Reed St. The Joliet property, which consists of a 19,980-square-foot retail building, is now for sale.
The asking price is $1,050,000. It's being marketed as a retail/industrial site.
Willy World Cycles closed two years ago this month after 38 years of business in Joliet.

"Aggressively priced retail showroom is being offered for sale in the desirable west side of Joliet, formally WillyWorld Cycles," the new listing reads.
The 1-acre parcel includes a 13,400-square-foot showroom, professional office space as well as ample storage space, according to the listing on LoopNet.

The property also includes two loading docks and plenty of parking space.
The real estate agent is Ryan Nelson, president of Foresite Reality in Chicago. Joliet Patch reached out to Nelson, but he didn't call back in time for this article.
