Collins St. Building Can Be Yours: Short Sale

JOLIET, IL — You don't see many commercial properties on the real estate market available along Joliet's Collins Street, but there is one now and it's being advertised as part of a short sale. The two-story building at 720 Collins St. is available for $675,000, according to the commercial real estate site LoopNet.

The Joliet property includes more than 14,000 square feet of space that's ideal for storefront retail or offices. The building was constructed in 2005. According to the listing agent, 720 Collins St. currently includes a laundromat and a doctor's office as tenants.

According to LoopNet, the property is part of a foreclosure sale, and any sale of the property will be subject to a judge's approval.

"Special selling officer will review all purchase offers and make recommendations to the lender, borrower and court for approval," the listing reads.
